Santpoorts feast week has begun. Always very nice, especially in the evenings. Santpoort-noord is a little town near Haarlem. Every years there's one week with many activities, maybe a little like Daytona's Springbreak, but completly different haha (how's that for a comparison huh ?!). Yesterday evening visited the main street. Normally it will take one from one end of the street to the other about 5 minutes (that also indicates how big that small town actually is). Now it toke about half an hour to 3 quarters of an hour, I mean, it was that crowded (as it is every year on the first and last evening). Anyway, had quite some fun ... always meeting people I haven't spoken with for about a year or so. The activities will last untill saturday the 3rd of august. Today it's again hothot all over Holland. I think I'll be heading for the beach in an hour or so.24 Juli 02 - 16:14site-update
Site-update: I changed some items on my site. As you may have noticed there is now a welcome page first. Im still working on the English section, but I hope it won't take to long. Do I hear you think: why a pineapple ? Well, because ... emm ... well, because !! I like pineapple, makes me think of a nice tropical island with lots of cocktails, white sands, blue oceans, waving palm trees and beautifull girls in bikini, dancing the hula or whatever. But it also goes well with 'chicken tonight' and rice, let's just leave it at that. Also, there are some new photo's added to portret-section in the 'fotoboek'.steffen - default - al 2 reacties - § ¶

Yesterday I posted two fansigns, one to Bianca and one to Teresa. Okay, they're very look-a-like but it's a start. Talking about a really dutch picture haha in a field of tullips. Anyway, got linked by Deborah and also by Marieke (which is currently offline at the moment .. mmm, pitty). Visited Kim, nice site with lots of log-entries (very dutch but hee, I can read it so too bad for all you english speaking people

Okay, well I started blabla-ing in English but then again, the rest of my site is all Dutch. And you know what that means .... ? Ya I know, mmm... tough one. I shall start translating everything I already written on the separate pages. It will take me a while though, but you can always start by signing my gastenboek
(okay, Dutch-English lesson nr 1: 'gastenboek' means 'guestbook' and 'schrijf in mijn gastenboek' means basically 'sign my gbook, and if you don't, I will hunt you down

Yesterday I participated in the 'bikersparade'. This was organized as a last tribute to the late Pim Fortuyn, who was escorted from Driehuis (his first burial groud) to Rotterdam. From there on he will be flown to Italy where his last burial ground will be. Pim Fortuyn was a politician in Holland who was not affraid to speak his own mind, he was an excentric and rebellious politician. About 2 months back he was shot at broad daylight and killed with three bullets. Because of his rebellious nature, many bikers from all over Holland (as bikers are bit of a rebellious people themselves) paid him as a last tribute an escort to Rotterdam. It was a very impressive ride, I can tell you that. Newspapers recorded over two hundred bikers, but in my opinion there were about over a thousand bikers. We started with about two hundred, but more and more bikers joined along the way. Also, riding to Rotterdam (over the freeway, I think about 70 kilometers) all offramps were closed and thousands of people were cheering, waving, applauding, throwing flowers. The only bizar thing was, the grave of Pim had to be reopened for him to be re-buried. That is, digging up the coffin for transport. The whole thing was broadcasted live on national TV. This was because some people didn't believe he was actually buried there (this broadcast would take away all doubts and proof he was really there). Well... they succeeded in that part !!

Jurgen vd Goorberg, a Dutch MotoGP driver, finished yesterday 15th at Donington in England. Damn, that's too bad, he started at 9th position but was unable to maintain that place.
Awell, better luck next time (il Doctore was magnificent (...again)). BTW, do you know why I like motorracing so much ? That's why !!

Haha, did a little test the other day, I'm worth $1,924,144.00 (is that the best you can do ... ?). I caught a movie yesterdaynight, Spiderman (liked it ..), my lil sis had already seen it on dvd (damn, i've got to get me one, one of these days). Weird isnt it, yesterday we saw the trailers of 'MIIB' and '8legged freaks' which are yet to be released here within a few months and across the big water they've probably already seen it (mmm ...). But one thing's for sure, I've definitely got to see Lord of the rings part 2 and 3 (haha, which is also still not released in the states). Muhahaha karten was ech heftag !! Goeie tijd gereden ook, en dat voor een eerste keer. Een rondje 38.48 sec. Op het moment dat wij gereden hadden was dat de 18e tijd en dat na de 42e heat. Jammer dat ik niet genoeg down-force had op die kart en een zootje van die spoilers, kon ik nog een beetje vliegen over die baan ook, nu was het alleen maar glijen door de bochten
